The Austrian specialists Duo, REALSIM® & Weigl Control, bring mixed reality to a new level. Weigl Control, the manufacturer of show control devices for the international entertainment industry, and REALSIM®, the specialists for hologram technology "Mixed Reality", combine their expertise and create a new kind of interactive experience of a very special kind.
Well-planned, lovingly designed theme parks and attractions are being transported into the new technology age with the new mixed reality technology. The elaborately designed backdrops are modernized with the new "virtual" level, which redesigns show sequences through interactivity.
Each attraction thus offers several stories for its visitors. Visitors without augmented reality glasses can enjoy the attraction, just as much as visitors with the new technology. Due to the new technology, the park operators, creatives & show designers can generate a wide variety of age-appropriate emotions. For example, child-friendly content, as well as content that appeals to adults, can be simultaneously presented for the same attraction. This makes the attractions a great experience for the whole family that is individually tailored to the respective needs.
The virtual design offers a cost-effective redesign for seasonal attractions, such as Easter, Halloween, Christmas, stag nights or school trips.
With the transparent glasses, visitors always maintain a connection to the real world. They can orient themselves to the real world and move freely within the attraction. Depending on their state of mind, visitors can withdraw from the virtual world at any time by removing the glasses, without losing sight of the main attraction.
The technology from REALSIM® & Weigl Control communicate via a special protocol: The glasses transmit the respective position of the visitors to the control devices, which control the show processes.
A show offers an interplay of light, audio, moving figures, video, other special effects and the virtual component.
