The newly developed virtual reality driving simulator was launched by the ÖAMTC to demonstrate the dangers of distraction at the wheel and to raise awareness of road safety. The simulator allows participants to experience the effects of distraction and unsafe driving behavior in a safe virtual environment. The simulator is currently being used at parents' evenings in kindergartens to make parents aware of their responsibility in road traffic.
