Mixed Reality for the Mars Mission – Visualizing the Surface of Mars

Analog MARS-Mission

For the AMADEE 24 analog mission, we were able to visualize a Martian surface using our mixed reality software. In this simulation, we were able to integrate live data from the Mars Rover and display it as a hologram to support the mission teams in monitoring and decision-making. This innovative visualization made it possible to see data in real time and experience the Mars mission even more realistically.

Real-time visualization of the Martian surface

Our mixed reality solution enabled the Martian surface to be presented as an interactive 3D visualization. Live data from the rover was integrated into the holograms, allowing mission teams to monitor the Martian environment in real time. This contributed not only to the efficiency but also to the precision of the mission by making all important information instantly and visually accessible.
